Monument to Catalan businessman Miquel Biada i Bunyol

24 November 1789 - 2 April 1848), promoter of the first railway line in the Iberian peninsula, between Barcelona and Mataró, inaugurated on 28 October 1848. The sculpture (1948), with the bronze figure of the mythological god Hermes, is a work of the artist Joaquim Ros Bofarull (Barcelona, 15 December 1906 - 18 June 1991).
