Plaque in memory of the imprisonment, in 1823-1824, of Polish 
poet Adam Mickiewicz (Nowogródek [now Navahrudak, Belarus], 
24 December 1798 - Constantinople, 26 November 1855).

Šiame pastate nijo 1823-X-23 iki 1824-IV-21 kartu su kitais filomatais buvo kalinamas Adomas Mickevičius čia vyksta “Vėliniu” III dallies veiksmas

W tym budynku od 23-X-1823 do 21-IV-1824 był więziony wraz z innymi filomatami Adam Mickiewicz tu rozgrywa się akcja “Dziadów” częsci III

[‘In this building Adam Mickiewicz was imprisoned along with other Philomaths from 1823 X-23 to 1824-IV-21; here takes place the action of the part III of "Dziady” (‘Forefathers’) drama]
