TRIESTE, Italy
Piazza Verdi

Sculptures of undocumented artists located at the top of the main facade of Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi (a work of the Austrian architect Matteo [Matthäus] Pertsch, 1801). In the center it is represented the god Apollo, flanked by allegories of the Tragic and the Lyrical arts. There are also some theater masques.
