St. Peter’s Street & East Street

Balcony of the former Boots the Chemist building, projected in 1912 by the Scottish architect Albert Nelson Bromley (1850-1934). The left sculpture represents the silk spinner John Lombe (Norwich, 1693 - Derby, 20 November 1722), and the right one represents the poet and historian William Hutton (Derby, 30 September 1723 - 20 September 1815).
