Allegory of the Republic, by the sculptor Émile Peynot (Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, 22 November 1850 - Paris, 12 December 1932). It is a separate split of the Monument to the Republic (1887) displaced by the construction of the line A of Lyon’s metro.
