TORINO, Italy
Piazza Castello

Bronze statue at the entrance to the Piazzetta of Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale), representing Castor, one of the mythical Dioskuri, twins who were supposedly sons of Zeus. The sculpture is a work 
of the Italian artist Abbondio Sangiorgio (Milan, 16 July 1798 -
2 April 1879).
