Młodzieży (Palace of Youth) in the complex
of the Pałac Kultury i Nauki (Palace of Culture and Science), designed by the Soviet Russian architect Lev Rudnev (Лев Руднев, Opochka, Pskov oblast, 13 March 1885 - Moscow, 19 November 1956) and built between 1952 and 1955 as a "gift of the Soviet people to the Polish nation." His style can be considered a mix of socialist realism and Polish historicism. Currently they are based
in this building the Polish Academy of Sciences and other public offices and private companies.
