Praça de São João

Monument to João Peculiar (Coimbra, ? - Braga, 3 December 1175), who was archbishop of Braga between 1138 and 1175. It was inaugurated on 5 December  2003. The design of the sculpture has been attributed to the sculptor Raul Xavier (Macau, China, 23 March 1894 - Lisbon, 1 January 1964).
