WARSZAWA, Poland

Monument to Polish theater director and playwright Wojciech Bogusławski (Glinno, 9 April 1757 - Warsaw, 23 July 1829). 
The sculpture is a work of Jan Szczepkowski (Stanisławów [now 
Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine], 8 March 1878 - Milan, 17 February 
1964) inaugurated for the first time on 27 September 1936. It was dynamited in 1944, rebuilt by the same artist and inaugurated again on 17 January 1965.
