Sibilj public water source, made build in 1753 by the Ottoman
vizier (governor) Mehmed Pasha Kukavica. Burned in a fire in 1852, it was
rebuilt in Neo-Moorish style by the Austro-Hungarian architect Alexander Wittek
(Sisak, Croatia, 12 October 1852 - Graz, Austria, 11 May 1894) and installed
again in place in 1891. It is one of the most emblematic monuments of Sarajevo.
