to remember and honor the military corps of Italian cavalry who distinguished between 1863 and 1918. It is a work of sculptor Pietro Canonica (Moncalieri, 1 March 1869 - Rome, 6 June 1959, who gave for free to the War Ministry, and was solemnly inaugurated on 21 May 1923. It was restored in 2008.
