ZARAGOZA (Aragón), Spain
Avenida de César Augusto

Puerta del Carmen. Monumental neoclassical structure built in 1789 by the architect Agustín Sanz (Zaragoza, 29 December 1724 - 25 July 1801) and inaugurated in 1792. It was one of the twelve gates to the city. It was damaged during the Napoleonic Wars (1808-1809).
