NOTTINGHAM, England.
Castle.
Castle.
Part of the façade and main entrance of the Ducal Mansion. The original building of the Castle, of 1067, was demolished in 1649 and replaced by another which, in turn, was burned down in 1831. The current building was opened in 1878 to house in the Ducal Mansion the Museum and Art Gallery. It was restored in 2005 after a landslide caused damage in December 1996.
