RHODOS / ΡΟΔΟΣ,
Greece.
South-eastern
side of the Grande Albergo delle Rose (now Rodos Palace Hotel, which includes
the Casino), built between 1925 and 1927 during the Italian occupation of the
Dodecanese, as designed by the architect Florestano De Fausto (Rocca Canterano,
Rome, 16 July 1890 - Rome, 11 January 1965) in collaboration with Michele
Platania. In this monumental building there are elements of the Italian
colonial architecture and others of Art Deco style.
