VICENZA, Italy
Neo-Renaissance polygonal dome of Santa Chiara’s
church, attached to the convent of the Poor Clares, built in the late 15th
century. The name of the architect who designed is not known,
but is attributed to Domenico da Venezia. The temple underwent numerous deteriores because of floods and an earthquake and
was in a state of semi-abandonment, until it was restored between 1878 and 1885.
